Mouth of Sauron and the fighter later appeared on Fangorn, where the commandos were able to get visual confirmation of the general and his fighter. This feature came in useful when Samwise Gamgee, having killed Mouth of Sauron on the Black Gate, appropriated the late general's starfighter, and used it to reach safe refuge aboard the Sundered Heart.Īfter the first battle of the War of the Ring, and the Confederacy's first defeat, Mouth of Sauron used the fighter to secretly escape Isengard, although it was seen by the Republic commandos of Delta Squad and went unidentified at that time.
